The Peloris II is a high-speed tissue processor engineered to provide exceptional outcomes for any specimen type. It offers the versatility of both xylene-based and xylene-free operational modes, utilizing the proprietary ActivFlo system to create the perfect environment for rapid, high-quality processing.
Equipped with two autonomous retorts, the Leica Peloris II grants laboratories the agility to process tissue samples based on fluctuating volume requirements. Its sophisticated reagent management technology tracks the quality of all fluids, allowing the system to automatically select the optimal station for every phase and proactively notify staff when reagent changes are necessary.
The Leica Peloris II Tissue Processor is supported by a suite of specialized “smart” consumables designed to enhance operational value. These include specialized cassettes that remove the need for biopsy pads, solid Parablocks™ wax for simplified paraffin management, and dedicated reagents that allow for a completely xylene-free environment.
